Pinnacle Locksmiths Kaeo
A small town on State Highway 10 in the Whangaroa district, on the flats beside the Kaeo River.
Locksmith work in Kaeo means the whole range in one township.
What we get called out to in Kaeo
Homes, farm buildings and the odd shop - solid, weather-tolerant hardware.
A small highway town on the flats, with farms around it and the Whangaroa harbour not far away. Flooding has been part of life here, and water is unkind to locks - anything that has been wet needs proper attention rather than being left to dry and hope.
Worth knowing in Kaeo: A lock that has been under water will not recover on its own. Salt and silt inside a cylinder will keep working away at it, and it is worth stripping or replacing rather than waiting.
Being genuinely mobile matters most in a smaller town: the answer to a broken lock should not be a day trip.

Questions
Locksmith services in Kaeo - your questions
Do you actually come out to Kaeo?
Yes - Kaeo is part of our normal Kaitaia run rather than a special trip, and we are there regularly. The van comes to you, so there is nothing to bring in and nothing to tow.
Do I need to bring my car or my lock to you?
No. There is no shop - we are entirely mobile, and the cutting and programming equipment travels in the van.
Do you supply the locks, or should I buy my own?
We carry a good range in the van, which is usually faster and better matched to the door. If you have already bought something, tell us what it is and we will say honestly whether it suits.
