What we collect when you contact us, why, and what we do not do with it.
This policy covers pinnaclelocksmiths.co.nz and the enquiries we receive through it. Pinnacle Locksmiths is the operator of this website.
What we collect
If you fill in an enquiry form we collect the name, phone number, email address and any details you choose to put in the message, together with the service and area fields if you complete them. That is all - we do not ask for anything else, and we do not require you to create an account.
Our web host records standard technical information about requests to the site, such as the page requested and the time. We do not use this to identify individuals.
Why we collect it
Solely so that we can answer your enquiry and carry out the work you are asking about. We do not sell your details, we do not trade them, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us for a quote.
Who sees it
Your enquiry goes to Pinnacle Locksmiths. It passes through the systems that host this website and deliver our email, which process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them for the job and for our ordinary business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will do it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people use, so that we can keep the site useful. It sets cookies in your browser for that purpose and records things like the page viewed, the type of device and the general area a visit comes from. It does not record your name, phone number or email address, and nothing you type into an enquiry form is sent to it. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
This website does not run third-party advertising scripts. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it - the Office of the Privacy Commissioner sets out your rights. Ring 0800 243 503 or use our contact page and we will sort it out.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page.
